Abstract

PT. Mekar Armada Jaya Magelang is an autobody industry stamping which produces various types of car body parts for PT. (ADM) Astra Daihatsu Motor, PT. (MKM) Mitsubishi Kramayuda Motor and PT. (MAJ Tambun) Mekar Armada Jaya Tambun. Production process at PT. Mekar Armada Jaya Magelang is required to always meet customers satisfaction with the results sent according to quality standards and targets that have been determined, but still defect products is found on those delivered up to customer. The target for achieving customer satisfaction is 5 PPM. Customer satisfaction targets are not achieved at PT. MAJ Tambun, that is as many as 56 PPM. This is due to part checking at Quality Inspection is carried out by sampling, so the defect product passes when checking. This study aims to create a Quality Control standard Process Chart (QCPC) in the Quality Inspection area. QCPC is made as guidelines and references when checking the stamping parts quality of the products produced in accordance with the standards. By doing revisions at QCPC, its has been proven to reduce total customer complaints from 56 PPM becomes 11 PPM.
